Our flagship location at 86 King is nestled in a heritage listed building with frontage on both King and Wellington St. Having first opened doors for trading in May 2014 to fill a serious void in the Perth BBQ scene, the venue has evolved over the years and has been under the proprietorship of the current owner, Rob Paolucci, since 2017. You might notice around the premises a comic book theme, owing to the artistic talents of Rob himself. After many renovations, a change of hands and a global pandemic, Old Faithful has evolved into the premier venue it is today.

Cold draught beer straight from the tap, wine varietals from the South-West, hand-crafted cocktails and specialty spirits – we have something for everyone. We support Australian brewers, distillers and vintners, with a strong focus on Western Australian products. However, being an American style venue and all, don’t be surprised to find a cold can of Bud or Bud Light amongst the fridge selection.
Beer & BBQ – such a classic combination, and we do it best. More than just a drink, beer brings kinfolk together and accompanies us through the finer moments of life. With 16 taps at our Perth location and 32 ready to tap in Fremantle, plus a selection of packaged beers, you would be hard pressed to not satiate your thirst.
We have a curated selection of whiskeys from around the globe, a highlight for many of our customer connoisseurs. From heavily peated Scottish single malts to special edition American bourbons, leave the sourcing to us. Takeaway service available at our Fremantle location to choose from a hand-picked selection of classic, rare and hard to find whiskeys by the bottle.
With an Old Faithful take on tried and tested classics, our cocktail menu showcases a delectable selection of craft spirits and ingredients. One glass not enough? We do cocktails by the jug, designed to be shared much the same as our bbq platters – with family and friends, old and new.
Our food takes time. Locally farmed meats are brined for up to 40 hours, smoked for up to 36, prepared and served with our own spice blends and house made sauces, no easy feat for our talented team of chefs! Some things just never go out of style, so we stick to what you love most. Cuts of smoked meats, burgers, classic sides and homemade desserts. Offering a-la-carte, platters to share or the famed All-In-BBQ feast, leaving hungry just ain’t an option.
Our Perth bar is located in the former Tranby Building (c 1906), a heritage streetscape occupying the corner of King & Wellington Streets. Old Faithful has been operating here since March 2014, with current owner Rob Paolucci taking over the reigns in June 2017. Old Faithful King St has evolved into the premier establishment it is today thanks to the hard work and dedication of our staff and family.
Well there is only so much you can do with one location, so it was about time Old Faithful expanded from its flagship post. Re-creating the old world vibe in a basement setting, Old Faithful Fremantle is sure to become a local favourite in the old port town.
